From 28 August to 8 September 4,400 athletes from all over the world will be competing in 23 different sports in Paris.

As a long-standing partner of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), Ottobock is once again providing technical services before and during the Games so athletes don't need to worry about their technical devices.

164 Ottobock team members from 41 nations with 32 languages spoken among them will be supporting the athletes with help and advice.

The sports complex includes a 720-square-metre Main Repair Service Center as well as 14 smaller Repair Service Centers.

Athletes can access the services on offer for free, no matter the manufacturer or type of device they use.

The Repair Service Center in Paris is digitised and uses a 3D printer and scanner, among other things, streamlining the treatment provided and making for a more pleasant experience.

The Unofficial Discipline

What is the Unofficial Discipline?

Every day over one billion people living with a form of disability compete in an invisible competition against inaccessibility. They fight staircases, broken elevators, and prejudices. In 2024, as the world converges on Paris for the Paralympic Games, we introduce a symbolic 24th discipline: The Unofficial Discipline, made of everyday hurdles that individuals with disabilities encounter every day, shining a spotlight on obstacles invisible to able bodied people.
